Course Description
The Operational / Departmental Manager Apprenticeship Standard is for anyone who manages a team and/or projects and is achieving operational or departmental objectives and goals. This could be someone who is accountable to a senior manager or business manager.
The typical duration of this apprenticeship would be up to 30 months, depending on your existing knowledge, skills, and behaviour.
Within this Apprenticeship Standard, you will need to achieve –
- Functional Skills in Maths and English at Level 2 (if you don’t already have Maths & English at Grade C or above).
- 20% Off the Job Training.
- Complete a portfolio of evidence – this will contain typically around 20 pieces of evidence, which will be used within your EPA.
- End Point Assessment to complete all the Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviours throughout the course which will consist of a Professional discussion that will last 60 minutes, a project, presentation, and questioning – the project would be a topic that you pick relevant to your own company, and then you present it, this should take around 60 mins.
